10 Tips to Keep the Gout Attack Away

1. Consult the diseases with your rheumatologist. Don' t carelessly take random drugs with uncertain benefits. It' s crucial to determine the accurate medication.

2. Avoid being overweight.

3. Have a healthy, balanced diet that incorporates complex carbohydrate (fruits, vegetables, red rice), low-fat protein (tofu) and healthy essential fat.

4. Pick the low-purine foods and put aside the high-purine foods. The low-purine foods are banana, lettuce, parsley, red cabbage, cabbage, mesh paprika and sour fruits. Avoid the high-purine foods, such as: liver (off all kinds of animal), giblets (kidneys, liver, lungs, intestines), meat extract (broth), saltwater fish (haring, sardine, tuna, anchovy), trout (freshwater fish), shrimp (lobster, crayfish), yeast, fried peanut, beer and alcoholic drinks.

5. Consume the foods that lower the uric acid and reduce the inflammation, such as berries (blueberry, strawberry), tofu and olive oil. Garlic is widely known as a magical herb for it is helpful in dealing with diseases and beneficial for the whole health. Consuming 3-5 bulbs of garlic in a day might help ease the uric acid and improve the overall body health. In addition, parsley also has diuretic characteristic that helps flush the uric acid out of the body. This vegetable can be consumed in either fresh or brewed condition.

6. Drink much water to help get rid of the uric acid. Drink eight glasses of water every day or, as the variation, juices of fresh fruits (tomato, orange, pineapple and some others).
